Umvuzo Health has announced its 2027 benefits and contributions, continuing our focus on making quality healthcare accessible, meaningful and sustainable for our members and their families.

ACCESS means removing barriers to healthcare. Over the past few years, we’ve strengthened access with unlimited online consultations, basic pathology and radiology, and acute medications funded from Risk across all options, alongside easier-to-use benefits.
CARE entails more than just benefiting the individual. It involves supporting members with complex healthcare needs and helping them understand their health through programmes like Healthy Me. The goal is to provide care that truly makes a difference in people’s lives.
Ultimately, what truly matters are the OUTCOMES — providing better healthcare experiences, achieving better health, and maintaining a robust Scheme that can proudly support our members now and into the future.
What’s changing in 2027?
From 1 January 2027, contributions will increase by 8.5% across all five Umvuzo Health options.
Benefit limits will also increase by an average of 4.2%, enhancing the value of our existing comprehensive benefit structure.
